'Fuji' (藤 — wisteria) is the specific dusty lavender that reads soft but never saccharine. 'Nadeshiko' (撫子 — fringed pink) is a pink with enough grey in it to feel grown-up. 'Hanada' (縹 — half-indigo) is the blue of paper screens at dusk. 'Murasaki' (紫) warmed with 'gin' (銀 — silver) is the color of cool cotton bedding in lamp light.
