Wada's catalog arrives at exactly this territory through different paths: the chalk-white of 'gofun' (胡粉 — crushed shells), the pale cool of 'hanada' (縹 — a blue halfway between sky and water), the grey-green of 'seiji' (青磁 — celadon ash glaze), the silvery neutral of 'gin' (銀).
