Sage Green Color Palettes

The green of dried herbs, early morning mist, and quiet rooms.

Sage — that particular grey-green that sits between green tea and stone — became ubiquitous in 2020s interior design for a reason: it reads as calming without being cold, botanical without being loud, and aged without being dull. Wada's vocabulary reaches it through 'moegi' (萌黄 — the budding yellow-green of new growth), 'seiji' (青磁 — celadon glaze green), and 'matcha' (抹茶 — the powdered-tea blue-green). Every palette here pairs the sage anchor with an off-white, a warm clay, or a deep ink so the muted green can breathe.
